Earthly (Olli+Ringmaster)

The ruddy skinned man kicked up some dust as he strolled across the plains, towards the Indian's settlement. With some protest from the sheriff of course. With a questionable bottle in hand and a unfocused gaze, the inebriated authority figure grumbled and snorted his objections to the deputy's consistent visits to the Indian's. The usual argument commenced, that the brown haired man never did anything that would cause the peaceable folks to become unsettled.

It was a long walk, one that Elijah only took every week or so...depending on how much work had to be done back at the office. Or rather if he could leave the sheriff alone without fear of him succumbing to alcohol poisoning. He paused a moment. Maybe it wouldn't be that big of a loss. Either way, he'd been visiting the small Indian settlement for roughly two months now...with no objection from the inhabitants.

Or at least from the people that saw the man regularly. The dark skinned passerby...a messenger to the nearby settlement heard the man's boots click against the packed ground, and turned his attention to him. He saw the man with a cowboy's hat approaching the native people...and it alarmed him.

The man, Ahtahkakoop, or 'Koop as we'll call him, was definitely alarmed. He quickly took cover, hiding himself from the light-skinned man with a scowl. What was he doing here? By the way he was dressed, 'Koop figured he was trouble. Big trouble for those whom 'Koop was delivering a message to. He would not allow that white man to enter the settlement.

He slowly grasped his bow, and then grabbed an arrow from the container on his back. He kneeled and began to set an aim for man. He was just walking so it would be easy; well, the first shot at least. He pulled back the arrow, causing the string to strain its self. A short second passed, and he released the arrow. Hurriedly, he repeated the act before the man had much of a chance to run. Once the deed was done, he left running towards the settlement, to let them know of the white man and deliver the letter.
